Activities

• Monday:
  • No class due to the fact that it is Labor Day
  • Students review all materials on the course website
• Wednesday:
  • Instructor-led document engineering deep-dive on Python programming
• Wednesday Laboratory:
  • Overview of the first document engineering tool-building project
  • First document engineering tool-building project assigned next week
  • Students meet with course instructor and student technical leaders
  • Students demonstrate installation of all required software tools
  • Students must run all commands described in Week One: Introduction to Document Engineering (e.g., git clone and quarto preview)
• Friday:
  • Use installed software tools for document engineering skill-check one
  • You must complete skill-check one during the in-person classroom session
  • Please review Week One: Introduction to Document Engineering for a list of necessary software tools
