Monday: - Instructor-led review of Python programming basics
- Instructor-led deep-dive on object-oriented programming
Tuesday: - DECO1 presentation completed through the use of Quarto, RevealJS, Markdown, Git, GitHub, and the GitHub Flow model
- Presentation available, in final form, as a pull request in the GitHub repository for the course web site, no later than 11:59 PM
- Each DECO1 team member must use Git and their own GitHub account to commit their work to the pull request for their team’s slides
Wednesday: - Team-based delivery of DECO1 presentation
Wednesday Laboratory: - Continue to review introductory content about Python programming
- Release the first document engineering tool-building project
- Students meet with the course instructor and student technical leaders
- At end of lab, students give in-person demonstration to course instructor
Friday: - Use installed software tools for document engineering skill-check two
